How we decide what to build next, and how a product goes from a rough idea to something finished enough to charge for. Here's the process, end to end.
1. Validate the problem
Every product starts with a real, recurring complaint — usually something we hear directly from customers or notice ourselves while building client work. If fewer than a handful of people would pay to solve it, we don't build it.
2. Design for the fastest path to value
We design every template and tool so the first five minutes after download are useful. No lengthy setup docs, no required account creation — open it and start working.
3. Internal dogfooding
Before anything ships, our own team uses it on a real project. If it doesn't save us time, it doesn't go out the door.
4. Beta with real customers
A small group of existing customers gets early access in exchange for feedback. This is where most of the polish — copy, defaults, edge cases — actually comes from.
5. Ship, then keep improving
Every product comes with free lifetime updates. Launch isn't the finish line — we keep iterating based on how people actually use it.
That's it. No secret formula, just a tight feedback loop and a refusal to ship something we wouldn't use ourselves.
